Howard Memorial Hospital Welcomes Dr. Kimberly Faucher to Willits

Willits - Gynecologist Kimberly R. Faucher, MD a nationally recognized expert in women’s health, and multiple recipient of the Air Force Commendation Medal, will begin practicing gynecology in Willits, CA on August 25, 2008. “We are pleased to welcome Dr. Kimberly Faucher to the medical staff of Howard Memorial Hospital (HMH),” stated Kevin Erich, President and CEO of HMH.

While her primary purpose is to provide comprehensive care for women’s health issues, her professional interests include menopause, uterine bleeding, urinary incontinence, and pelvic support issues.

Dr. Faucher’s goal is “to establish connections with patients and other care providers that foster collaborative health care, decision making, optimize outcomes and enjoy the experience!”

When not practicing medicine, Dr. Faucher enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling and horseback riding. She is looking forward to California sun, residing close to the Pacific Ocean and the opportunity to join a close-knit community.

While serving as a member of the United States Air Force, Dr. Faucher studied medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. Upon completion of medical school she began an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program at David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base, CA. She became a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1995. She has practiced medicine in Japan, Maryland, Washington, DC, and most recently, Seattle, Washington where she was part of the clinical faculty at the University of Washington.

She is Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Society for Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology, North American Menopause Society along with the American Urogynecologic Society.
