Willits - Effective immediately, patients can now
pre-register online for select procedures at Frank R. Howard
Memorial Hospital (HMH). They can register from the comfort of their
own home through a few simple clicks of the computer mouse.
“We are thrilled to offer this new service to our community,”
commented Carlton Jacobson, CFO of HMH. “By using this new service,
our patients will have a much faster visit to the registration
department prior to their scheduled procedure. This is a great
customer service which will reduce patient wait times.”
In order to pre-register, patients will need to know the date, time
and type of procedure such as surgery, MRI or a Mammogram. Once this
information is known, the patient simply can go to
www.howardhospital.org and look for the
“Pre-Register online now” button on the home page. The patient will
then enter date, time, insurance ID, type of procedure, and where it
is scheduled along with personal contact information.
“Patients will still need to go to registration on the day of the
procedure to pick up their ID wrist band, and sign key documents,”
stated Jacobson. “However, most of the work can be done at home so
that the patient can reduce wait times.”
